1. About these terms

These terms govern use of the eLearnsy website. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.

These are website terms only. Any paid project or service will be governed by the separate proposal, statement of work, contract or terms agreed for that engagement.

2. About eLearnsy

The website is operated by eLearnsy Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC887707. Our registered office is Office 424, 18 Young St, Edinburgh, EH2 4JB, Scotland.

3. Using the website

You may use the website for lawful purposes and to learn about or enquire about our services. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, scrape it unreasonably or use it in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

Free Screen Check fair use: the service is limited to three submissions per email address in any 24-hour period. We may reject excessive, automated, abusive, unlawful or security-testing submissions, or suspend the tool where reasonably necessary. Upload only screenshots you are authorised to share and do not include personal, confidential or sensitive information. A Screen Check is a review of one visible screenshot, not a complete course audit, accessibility certification or guarantee of learning effectiveness.

4. Website information

We aim to keep information clear and accurate, but website content is provided for general information and may be changed, removed or become out of date. It is not professional, legal, financial or technical advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice suited to your circumstances.

Submitting an enquiry does not oblige either party to proceed with a project and does not create a contract.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website, branding, text, graphics, layouts and other content are owned by or licensed to eLearnsy Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and print reasonable extracts for your own internal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, publish, sell, adapt or commercially exploit website content without written permission.

6. Enquiries and uploaded material

When sending an enquiry or uploading a document, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you are entitled to share it and that it does not contain unlawful content or malicious software.

You retain ownership of material you submit. You give us permission to access, copy and use it only as reasonably needed to review the enquiry, communicate with you or provide agreed services. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Confidentiality

We treat enquiry materials and discussions as confidential in the ordinary course of business. However, website submission alone does not create a formal non-disclosure agreement. Where stronger or specific confidentiality obligations are needed, they should be agreed in writing before sensitive material is shared.

8. Third-party services and links

The website may use or link to services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party websites, availability, content or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

9. Availability and security

To the fullest extent permitted by law, eLearnsy Ltd is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information, temporary unavailability, third-party content, viruses outside our reasonable control or indirect or consequential business loss connected with website use.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies from its stated update date. Continued use of the website after an update means the revised terms apply to that use.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. The Scottish courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply in another jurisdiction.
