ELEARNING REDESIGN & REPAIR

Keep the useful work.
Make the course work better.

A dated course does not always need a complete rebuild. Elearnsy reviews existing eLearning and scopes the changes that will make the biggest difference to clarity, usability and performance.

A focused fix or a wider redesign.

Clearer screens and learning structure.
Repaired interactions and Storyline logic.
A practical scope based on the course you have.
Scoped clearly. Quoted before work begins.

What is getting in the learner’s way?

The right starting point is the problem you can observe: people miss a key instruction, struggle to navigate, receive confusing feedback or cannot complete the course. A review separates content, design and technical issues so the work has a clear purpose.

Clarify the experience

Improve hierarchy, instructions, language and pacing. Reduce unnecessary content and make the next action easier to understand.

Repair the behaviour

Investigate interactions, variables, triggers and scoring. Agree a repeatable acceptance check for each repair so the result can be verified.

Refresh with a plan

Update the visual direction and accessibility within an agreed scope. Keep effective sections and concentrate effort where the experience needs to change.

What to send for an initial review.

A short description of the issue, a screenshot or course link, and the source file if available. For a technical fault, include the steps that reproduce it, the expected result and the device or LMS where it occurs.

A published SCORM ZIP can help with diagnosis, but it is not a replacement for the editable authoring project. If the source is missing, we will explain what can be inspected or repaired and what may need rebuilding.

Start with one screen.

Use the free Screen Check for a personal second opinion on one screenshot. It is a useful first step when you know a screen feels awkward but cannot yet name the problem.
BEFORE WE START

A few practical questions.

Can you work on a course built by another developer?

Yes, subject to access to the relevant files and your right to edit the material. We review the existing build before agreeing the work.

Does a visual refresh fix the learning design?

It can improve readability and navigation, but weak practice or unclear objectives need design changes too. The review identifies which kind of work is needed.

Can you fix LMS completion problems?

These need a separate look at publishing, tracking and the LMS setup. Our SCORM troubleshooting service starts by reproducing the issue and identifying where it occurs.

A rough outline is enough to start.

Tell us what you have, who it is for and what needs to work better. We will review the outline and agree a sensible next step.
